Lyrics
I learn a new word or two or ten each and every day, yes I do
And I’ve got so much more to grasp once again today, yes it’s true
The world is infinite, but it’s shrinking more and more
From the endless living room to the mail slot in the door
And I’ve got things to do, and thoughts a-new with quests to brew
I’ll break on through and find the true-est clever clues
Through greens and blues
And methods to say something, ’cause I’ve got something to say
I see a new landscape with my fresh eyes (my eye-eye-eye-eye-eyes)
Such high-def details of the earth and of the sky (the sky-ey-ey-ey-ey)
And the vast firmament is dissolving every day
With definitions now revealing in new ways
Now I’ve got friends to see, in comedy with birds in trees
The world is free, within the sweet infinite sea of discovery
Of new ways to say something, ’cause I’ve got something,
Something to say
I see everything and soak it all in, and store it on my magical shelf
I’ll hear everything and process it within
Until I can articulate it myself, say it myself!
I’ve got new words to learn today
And a new adventure starting soon
Where I’ve got plenty notes to play
And my Saturday morning car tunes
I’m always saying something…
