Sweet woman beloved, the best part of my life
A thousand mandolins strike a chord when you come into my sight
An iron dove who rescued me from the strife
Of a thousand perilous holes along the road on a pitch black night

When will I see you again? It’s imperative that my reasoning be cleansed
On the scorching sands of my mythology, I will recite my ultimate apology
So this may mend and then we’ll see, what shall be

Should I leap in that ravine? The bottomless hole of my dreams

Crazy fellow riders, dancing on the brink
Seems like every generation designs its own distinct dramatization

Before drifting off to the dark side of Mars in search of a new tune

When will I see you again? I reach the crest of hill and a desert appears without end
Within the stinging winds of this reality
Is it possible to get beyond the vanity, and simply tend?

We’ve done our best to craft the finest nest

We rose above to master to the laws of love
But at times that vision was met with derision and hurt for us

What comes around to keep us on the ground?
Some kind of charm that’ll bring some magic karma thing, artistic justice
But if the house comes crumblin’ down and you’re exiled from your hometown
