Lyrics
Can you feel the sunshine emerging out of the rain?
A small but significant step forward along life’s long bittersweet refrain
Well, it is not over, there’s time to make this all right
The undetermined element which lifts us up to resume the flight
What has deflated you into this syndrome undefined?
For I recall vitality in a very recent time
Once I was stark and simple, while you were schooled and refined
But now some opposite kismet divides your world and mine
Everybody’s got worry and everybody’s got fear
The trick is just to keep the wheel turning
Spinning throughout each difficult year
For every day’s a beginning, another chance to mark time
An opportunity to keep that fire burning beyond its ever fleeting prime
They claim your world is fractured while mine is doing fine
But I’m not so far from your front door and I pass by all the time
If you can cross that threshold, then I can drop a line
And we can forge a confluence which joins your world and mine
Can you feel the sunshine?
